Redbridge Council is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join their Adults Social Care team on a temporary basis. Based in Ilford, you will be responsible for supporting adults within the community by carrying out critical social work tasks, including assessments, reviews, and safeguarding. This role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to make a difference in adult social care.
Job Description
Complete comprehensive assessments and reviews for adults requiring social care support.
Undertake Continuing Healthcare (CHC) work, including preparing and presenting at panel meetings.
Manage safeguarding cases, ensuring all actions comply with statutory requirements and best practice standards.
Provide duty cover as part of a rota, responding to urgent cases and ensuring timely interventions.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with valid registration.
Proven experience in adult social care, including conducting assessments, managing reviews, and safeguarding work.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to present cases confidently at panel meetings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
