Are you a skilled GP looking for locum opportunities in London and Outer London hospitals? Look no further! Staffing Professionals Limited is seeking a dedicated Locum GP - Health Assessment Doctor to join our team.
Job Description
To provide a high standard of evidence based medical care within Nuffield Health, offering a full range of primary care services.
To support and participate in the development and innovation of clinical areas.
To perform Health Screenings and provide consultation on any physical examination of clients, producing the clinical reports, discussing all positive and negative findings, delivering test results, and offering appropriate individual counselling according to results obtained and providing advice on preventative health and lifestyle actions. In addition (where necessary) to refer for onward treatment and management, diagnoses and private prescribing
Requirements
Experience, Knowledge & Expertise – Essential
• Relevant postgraduate experience.
• Significant experience working as a qualified GP.
• Good understanding of private sector.
• A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An understanding of evidence based medicine & clinical governance.
• Adheres to GMC: Good Medical Practice Guidelines
• Good IT skills – a competent and confident IT user.
• Proactivity to develop services already in place but be able to show willing to introduce new initiatives and ideas
• Ability/willingness to do venepuncture, height and weight measurements, cervical screenings etc.
• Motivated and able to work individually and be comfortable working with discerning clients.
• Evidence of recent clinical audit.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• High level of interpersonal skills with drive and enthusiasm
• Well-presented and professional in appearance.
• ’Can do’ attitude and a sense of humour.
• Highly organised, flexible and enjoys pace.
