Staffing Professionals is currently recruiting experienced A&E Nurses to work on a locum basis at a busy NHS hospital in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive Emergency Department, providing high-quality care to patients in a challenging and rewarding environment.

As a Locum A&E Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering urgent and emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions and injuries. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, prioritise and provide safe, effective treatment in a busy NHS setting.
Duties will include:
• Assessing, triaging and prioritising patients according to clinical need
• Delivering high-quality nursing care within the Emergency Department
• Administering medication and treatment safely and in line with local policies
• Monitoring, recording and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assisting in emergency situations and supporting resuscitation where required
• Working closely with doctors, paramedics and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Ensuring infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• NMC Registered Nurse with a valid and active PIN
• Minimum 6 months’ recent UK experience within A&E / Emergency Department nursing
• Strong triage, assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
