Are you an experienced Mental Health Nurse with a passion for Autism care?
Staffing Professionals is proud to partner with a respected NHS hospital in Lancashire to offer an exciting locum opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Band 6, with a specialist interest in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
In this role, you’ll make a meaningful difference to individuals with autism and complex mental health needs. You’ll work within a dedicated multidisciplinary team, delivering autism-informed care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Job Description
• Delivering specialist mental health and autism-specific assessments
• Planning and delivering tailored care interventions
• Supporting patients with ASD and co-occurring mental health conditions
• Collaborating with families, community services, and the MDT
• Responding to crises and managing clinical risk
• Documenting care and contributing to service improvement

Requirements
• NMC-registered RMN with Band 6 NHS experience
• Strong experience working with Autism Team
• A proactive, compassionate, and adaptable approach
• Up-to-date mandatory training and enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
